Character profile of LUK Two-Handed

ラック両手剣パラのダンス Chaeacter

This is an introduction to an adventurer who wanders the world of Toram Online in search of good hanting spots.

This character is built to explore various maps in Toram Online while gathering spina and materials.

I’ve raised his level so I can gather boss materials. My equipment isn’t ready from the 10th anniversary event yet, so I plan to update it in the future.

Status

My stat distribution is LUK capped for Spina and material farming. Like a true two-handed user, STR is maxed, with the remaining points in DEX. Through daily grinding and clearing the story (including the Adventurer’s Diary), I’ve reached level 305. This character gets a MaxMP +860 because I make “Ankake Fried Rice” Lv9.

Equipment

The core of this build revolves around its weapon and additional equipment.

For the weapon, I’m using a Savon Spada crafted by a blacksmith, as blacksmith-made versions offer higher MaxMP and Natural MP Regen. The +30 Natural MP Regen significantly boosts hunting efficiency, and the +600 MaxMP is also a crucial benefit. I went through nearly 80 Savon Spadas, converting them into medicines, before finally getting one with a slot from the blacksmith. I almost gave up along the way!I refined it up to C with a TEC character, and completed the rest with this two-handed sword character. It probably took around five stacks of Mithril Ore. For the Crysta, I’m using Don Profundo. Its advantage lies in boosting ATK, STR, and Critical Rate. The defense reduction is a minor drawback, but as they say, “It’s better to strike first!”

Waffle Hair Ornament is fantastic, offering +40 Natural MP Regen and an impressive +30 critical rate. For the crysta, I’m using Jibril III. This character’s main skill, Sonic Blade, benefits from range correction, and since both Short and Long Range Damage are needed, having Jibril III is incredibly helpful. It boosts both ranges, increases critical rate, and provides bonus MaxMP and Natural MP Regen.

For the body armor, I applied stats to a Anniversary Festive Garb V (slotted) with a TEC character. The applied stats are: ATK +6%, STR +10%, Critical Damage +11%, Critical Damage +20, MATK -14%, Magic Pierce -8%, Dodge -22, Dodge -6%. I editted a DX Fighter crysta in it. This has finally solved my HP issue, which was a challenge in addition to my damage output. I’m currently debating whether to use DX Fighter II or a Baavgai for the body armor. It’s light-reforged for ASPD and Dodge.

For the special gear, I’m using a Time Wrap Watch with Etoise crysta. This gear focuses on maximizing Attack Speed. The ATK and MP are already sufficient thanks to other equipments, skills, and cooking buffs. The Etoile provides enough critical rate, so I’ve decided to prioritize a stat I previously ignored: Attack Speed.

For appearance, I’ve chosen the Golden Fake Greatsword for the two-handed. For my armor and additional gear, I’m wearing the Phantom Mail and Phantom Cape from the Halloween event, and also have an Ice Cape. I fell in love with the Phantom Mail at first sight, so I even used a Pseudoweight Magic Potion to get the full set. I also really like that the decorations on the Ice Cape match the eye color on the Phantom Cape. Since the overall look is like a wandering phantom, I chose the Golden Fake Greatsword for a classic, old-fashioned feel that fits the theme.

Skills

ラック両手剣パラのブレードスキル

I did my best to stitch together some screenshots of Blade skills. As you can see, there are very few skills I haven’t maxed out. I’ve put 5 points into Hammer Slam, Cleaving Attack, Hard Hit, Astute, and Spiral Air as prerequisites. Trigger Slash has 6 points to reduce its MP cost. Sonic Blade is maxed out at 10 using a Star Gem. The only skill I haven’t put any points into at all is Sword Tempest. Everything else is maxed at 10.

ラック両手剣パラのパルチザンスキル

I’ve also acquired the Partisan skills. I’ve put 10 points into all three Boomerang skills, as their power seems to increase with their total level.

ラック両手剣パラのナイトスキル

I’ve put 10 points into the Knight skill Bind Strike. I got it specifically for breaking boss parts, as it allows me to inflict a stun—though it does require the Gem Case prerequisite.

ラック両手剣パラのハルバードスキル

For Halberd skills, I’ve put 10 points into Godspeed Wield. When there’s a tank, We can ignore the downsides and focus on the benefits: increased damage per second and reduced vulnerability.

ラック両手剣パラのシュートスキル

For Shoot skills, I’ve put 10 points into Long Range, Quick Draw, and Decoy Shot. I initially took Long Range for Sonic Blade, but I’m glad that more of my blade skills benefit from it now. Quick Draw and Decoy Shot are there for MP recovery.

ラック両手剣パラのガードスキル

I’ve put one point into Mirage Evasion from the Guard skills. This allows me to move once while Decoy Shot is active, which helps me avoid unexpected damage.

ラック両手剣パラのバトルスキル

As for Battle Skills, it’s a pretty standard setup. I’ve maxed out Critical UP and Battle Mastery at 10. The other skills are prerequisites with 5 points each. I’m using a Star Gem to get Attack UP to level 10.

ラック両手剣パラのサバイバルスキル

For Survival skills, I’ve maxed out Short Rest, MP Boost, and Sober Analysis at 10. These are all focused on MP and help improve my efficiency when hunting mobs.

ラック両手剣パラのサポートスキル

I’ve also put 10 points into the Support skill Brave Aura. While it doesn’t affect regular mobs, I got it because it helps me cross the one-shot threshold for bosses.

I also put one point into Shukuchi and Refine Equipment. Due to my character’s high LUK stat, it’s difficult to succeed or fail at refining, so it’s a job I’ve delegated to this character. This character is responsible for refining equipment with Mithril Ore.

Star Gem

I spent a lot of Spina to gather these. I chose them to be as efficient as possible, so they all trade one skill point for a level 10 skill. It’s funny, though—Sonic Blade, the skill I use most often, was the cheapest one to get. I don’t get it!

Play Dead and First Aid: These are great skills for a mercenary, so you can swap them out when you’re playing solo.

Sonic Blade, Drop Rate Up, and Process Materials: These are for hunting mobs, so you’re right, they can be changed depending on what you’re doing.

Two-Handed and Attack UP: It’s true that this skill is expensive and its benefits can be a bit redundant if you already have the prerequisite 5 points. You could definitely consider swapping this for a different Star Gem.

Gem Case

Next up is the Gem Cart.
Sunbathing (Max 4) and Sonic Blade Extender (over 10) are still a must. The new addition is Zero Stance. I’d been wanting this one because it boosts damage by 1.1x without using combos.
I worked hard to get it by farming in the Stoodie’s Experiment Labilans Sector (Lv170) with a Knuckle/Dagger character. I also managed to get Monster Hunter, which recovers MP when you defeat an enemy, so I feel like I’ve got most of the Gem Carts I need for mob hunting.
Next, I’d like to get Binding Strike Modifier for breaking parts. Aura Blade Force would also be good for long-range attacks. My Knuckle/Dagger character still has a lot of work to do!

Combo

ラック両手剣パラの近距離コンボ

This is a combo for short range damage, used after getting close with Shukuchi.
Shut-Out is added if it’s needed to finish off the enemy. Since it has a long recovery time, I’ll remove it if there’s a risk of taking a counterattack.

ラック両手剣パラの遠距離コンボ

This is my long range damage combo.
I use it to chase after an enemy, usually after dodging a painful Area of Effect attack. I might change it up a bit once I get Aura Blade Force.

所感

The latest story mobs can now be defeated in a single hit with Super Sonic Blade.
I’m really satisfied that my hard work on crafting a weapon has paid off. Now, exploring maps will be much more efficient.
Guard and Avoid can be annoying since they prevent a one-hit kill, so I’ve been wanting to get skills like Guard Break or Read Ahead. My desires are endless!
A quick note: If you’re not using Super Sonic Blade, your critical rate might be slightly insufficient, so you’ll need to adjust your stats with special gear or avater.
